Otters – Preschool 4 & 5 yrs

Level I - Four Students / One Swim Teacher
Prerequisites: No Prior Swimming Skills Required

Description: These classes focus on basic swimming techniques. We start by gently introducing blowing bubbles and humming (nose bubbles). We begin to learn straight leg kicking, as well as basic arm movements. The children will learn about keeping the water safe by closing gates, doors and windows. Leaning how to float on their fronts and backs allows the students to explore on their own. Streamlining develops motor skills and the ability to recognize body balance.
