Choose a day and time that fits your activity schedule. Call the appropriate Location for your class level availability. Fill out the Registrations Forms and make your initial payment.

What do I need to bring to class?
Swim suit and a towel will be needed. Any students under the age of three must wear A Sea Sports Swim approved swim diaper (available in our retail area).

A variety of other items such as goggles, swim caps, ear plugs and a swim bag may be used.

Should I stay during my child’s class?
Because most classes are thirty minutes, we do ask you to stay in the facility during your child’s class. The last few minutes, during the jumps and dives, parents are encouraged to go onto the deck and get an update from the teacher about progress made and skills to work on at home.

What should I do if my child is crying?
Please be assured that this is not uncommon in a new environment like swim lessons. It might help to walk your child out to their lessons and hand them off to the teacher, then walk calmly back to the viewing room with a confident, pleasant expression. By handing your child to the teacher, you are telling your child that they can trust them, and that vote of confidence will help the teachers greatly.

If your child continuously cries and calls to you from the viewing room, sometimes it is helpful to move out of their line of sight. By breaking eye contact, your child will have the chance to become more involved in their lesson and give their instructor their full attention.

Can I change the day/time of my class?
There is a “30-Day Change Notification” required for schedule changes.
You can change you class day/time twice a year.

What is the make up policy?
You can re-schedule a missed class with the GOLD & SILVER Key Plans by using one of your discretionary classes.

Monthly customers can re-schedule a missed class, due to sickness, with a note from the Doctor’s office.

When will my child be ready for the next level?
We ask you to withhold judgment until your swimmer has had several lessons. Our Classes are fun, interesting, and move quickly in order to retain your child’s attention.

Sea Sports Swim teachers use the Learn to Swim Lesson Script, which is our set of Very detailed lesson plans. The plans for each level are designed for several skills to progress in small increments each week. Consequently, improvement will be more apparent over several lessons.

We are confident that you will be delighted with our program as your swimmer advances through the levels. Then you will know as we do, that this is the way lessons should be taught.
